Summerland Business Announces Community Wide Yard Sale For The Cure
RE/MAX Orchard Country announces their participation and invites all of Summerland to participate in this one day national event.
Now in its sixth year, Yard Sale For The Cure is held the last Saturday each May, this year May 29. Canadians from coast to coast gather their clutter and hold a Yard Sale for the Cure.
Presented by RE/MAX, this worthy cause encourages Canadians to hold a yard sale and donate some of the proceeds to help in the fight against breast cancer. Last year, combined proceeds from the one day yard sales raised over $175,000, as more than 1,000 people hosted and shopped at this tremendous worthy event.
RE/MAX has a long tradition of supporting worthwhile causes. RE/MAX invites you to join the event that brings hundreds of neighborhoods together for a massive one-day yard sale in support of breast cancer. "Yard Sale for the Cure" is the natural evolution of our involvement with breast cancer, and yet another occasion for us to give back to the community.
